To her MA in Speech Communications Behavior, she brings specialization in educational cultures and learning environments to a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership/Systems. Moreover, this educator/coach has maintained National Board Certified Teacher certification since 2000. More recently, she added evocative coaching certification from the Center for /school Transformation and certification as an educational consultant/trainer from the Center for School Effectiveness. Since 2010, she has been fellow level affiliate of the Institute of Coaching (McLean/Harvard). Here she prefers participation in invitation-only, international coaching leadership forums (ICLF) along with other senior leadership and executive coaches. In 2017, she was a CoachX blog and podcast feature on her signature topic of self-sabotage.
Patricia’s engagement in leadership and personal and professional development evolved from more than 20 years of teaching, coaching and/or mentoring experienced and pre-service educators in upstate New York. Since, her clientele has broadened to include independent business owners, rising C-suite management, church and lay community leaders, and international missions.
Included in her creative communications, training, and consulting services are dramatic poetry & story performance, masterful curriculum development; digging deep to success and beyond - a personal development framework, self-sabotage – confronting the elephant in the room; reflection - cultural habituation, and DISC Profile - interpretation & application.
A “re-fired” urban educator, Dr. Marino became the Founding Principal of PathMark Innovations, LLC, which now includes GardenScape Consultations. Here she works as an excellence and purpose driven leadership/life coach, mentor, and motivational speaker. Her doctoral research examines the use of coaching to improve teaching practices. Her avocational writing and directing yielded a historical play and multi-media production, The North Star. As well, she authored Touch Me, a collection featuring some of her original inspirational prose and verse. Her newest project, Earthen Vessel, was released in 2018. Soon to be released is the project Success Is Close at Hand for 21stCentury Educators.
