Dionne Mack
Above all things, Dionne L. Mack is a human. She is a mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, auntie, niece, cousin, and friend.
A seasoned executive and HR practitioner, Dionne has dedicated most of her career to creating inclusive and diverse workspaces within large and complex, highly regulated multinational corporations. The early part of her career was focused on HR compliance, employee relations, and diversity management. As Dionne grew in the HR space, the business value of inclusion and diversity – and its ability to amplify an organization’s business outcomes — became her primary focus. Her work in this space has led to understanding these basic foundational principles:
- Corporations generally exist to provide a service or product, and to be profitable.
- A corporation’s level of success is directly linked to the various levels of competency of their leadership.
- Corporations are comprised of people – human beings.
- Focusing on the humans within a corporation, along with a clear business strategy, can propel an organization’s success trajectory exponentially.
As an executive coach and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion consultant, these principles serve as the pillars reinforcing Dionne’s current work. Helping leaders develop the skills and mindset to lead inclusively, with a human-centered approach, has proven to be THE GAME-CHANGER in effectively creating and sustaining diverse and inclusive workplaces.
In addition to her coaching and consulting practice, Dionne currently serves as the Chief Diversity & Inclusion Officer at the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching (iPEC). In this role, she supports the organization’s mission to raise the consciousness of the world by ensuring iPEC develops and trains culturally conscious and competent coaches, as well as through an external focus on the thought leadership and intersections of diversity and inclusion within the coaching industry.
Prior to joining iPEC, Dionne led diversity, inclusion and HR compliance efforts at Fortune 100 companies spanning multiple industries including automotive technology, aerospace and defense, and finance/insurance.
Dionne is passionate about supporting her community and empowering others to reach their greatest potential. She serves on the Board of Directors of the YWCA of Greater Atlanta and volunteers as a mentor to aspiring HR leaders.
Dionne has degrees in Business Administration from the State University of New York and the University of Phoenix and obtained her coach training at iPEC. Her passions include fishing, dog training and French fries. In her free time, she serves at the beck and call of her daughter, Felicity, grandchildren – Kennedy, Mason, and David; and six younger siblings who all believe she only exists to be their entertainment and uncompensated life coach.
