Karen Barker is the Director and Principal Consultant of Transitional Executive. She has a wealth of senior management and global organisational experience, and as an International Coach Federation (ICF) credentialed coach.

Karen has a proven track record of supporting leaders and teaching them how to make good decisions not only for themselves but also for their team and the whole business.

Karen founded Transitional Executive in 2009 after working as a General Manager for large retail organisations.

Today, Karen works with business leaders to help them achieve their goals and discover their professional development potential. Through Transitional Executive, she coaches CEOs and senior executive teams, using 360 degree feedback and team days.

Karen Barker is a graduate of Monash University (Melbourne Australia) and Auckland University of Technology Faculty for Business as well as a member of the Institute of Coaching at McLean Hospital, a Harvard Medical School affiliate.

She is a member of the (ICF) and an accredited ( ACC ) coach having completed intensive training with ICF accredited institutions in Executive Coaching to gain additional knowledge in coaching to supplement the in-depth experience already gained from leading large business teams.
