Ms. Janet Durfee is a retiree from her service at the Department of Veterans Affairs  and the United States Navy.  In the Navy she served as a Nurse Corp Officer, and  subsequently transitioned her service to  Veterans Health Administration (VHA).  At VHA she served 22 years as a Nurse Practitioner, and then as a Healthcare Administrator working as Deputy for Clinical Public Health for VHA.  She is launching a second career as a Health Coach and has joined IOC part time with a background in grant and executive management.  Ms. Durfee has a genuine interest in supporting the growth of the Coaching profession through the mission of the IOC.
